Re: Little 'Cuda in Michigan
Here is how the bike looks now (this was last month up in Copper Harbor, MI) https://farm1.staticflickr.com/772/21876880362_c7385b71b7_b.jpg [/url] Running a pretty light Indy SL, and a 25.4 Thudbuster shimmed up to 26.4 I had to put the swept back bars on there for her - the long and low geometry o...

She can just...

Re: 1994 A2MS rear brake cable routing
I went ghetto with plastic casing and a zip tie to hold it against the top tube just ahead of the seat tube. Not thrilled with this, but it works. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7359/9127718251_f7dac10c57_c.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5465/9129930796_3926721e64_b.jpg If anyone has done a cleane...

1994 A2MS rear brake cable routing
How the heck do you guys do it? There is a front cable stop, then just a small horizontal tube right behind the seatpost. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3825/9127305249_3a0db042de_o.jpg This is the best pic I can find of a similar (but larger) frame than mine (a 12"). Hoping to run a XTR M900 ca...

Re: Little 'Cuda in Michigan
Found a couple of forks for it. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2813/9077201709_46da9a478b_b.jpg This is an old trek cromo fork, 410mm a-c I think. Also bought a RockShoz Indy SL for $5. My buddy donated the King Headset. The reach and standover are a bit much for her right now. I'm really hoping she ...

WTB: Fork for 1994 A2M
Have a 12" A2M frame that am building for my daughter, and need a decent fork for it. Thinking I need something in the 440mm a-c range, but I don't know. Head tube is 1-1/8", would prefer threadless.
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Little 'Cuda in Michigan
ok, so now it's a new riding season and I want to start building this to see if it's a "this summer" bike or a "next summer" bike for her, but need a fork to do so. Do I want something in the 440-450 A-C range for this? I'm guessing a non-suspension corrected fork (395mm) will be...

Re: Little 'Cuda in Michigan
You plan on making it a 1X ? for her, how old is she? She turns 6 in early May, but she is really tall for her age. She just got a 20" bike, so I have a year or two until she is ready for this. yeah, it will be a 1x8 or 1x7 initially. I got the cranks installed on her HotRock today. Way cool. ...
