Re: Hello from Connecticut via England

Oh, please don't take my comments in a negative way; not intended as such and I'm certain you weren't making absolute claims. No harm, no foul. The perplexing items in this discussion are (in my opinion): - The use of dihedral top tube. - The fact that you received a manual from the BBC of Durango. ...

Re: Yeti made Barracuda frames?

The earliest of Barracuda bicycles were crafted by Yeti, and once production was sent to Asia, some of the Team frames (no, not the 1995 XXTeam) which the race team used were made by the folks at Yeti & 3D Racing.

Re: Hello from Connecticut via England

No testimony from former employees needed. This bike did not come out of the Barracuda Bicycle Company of Durango, Colorado, USA. No if's, and's or but's about it. First inclination is that we have catalogs from Barracuda and their 1994 line. Second, is that the dates in the story here don't match u...

Re: I lied here is another XX Dos $980 Raleigh

There's no way to circumvent the use of our images, so no sense in trying. I've been buying online (Craig's List even) with Paypal using the insurance feature. I think it's called that.. Anyhow, the money is held in escrow by Paypal until I release it by telling them I've received the product. So lo...

Re: Hi there from Germany

Welcome to the forum! Great story; I'm looking forward to seeing your build as it progresses.

What is the serial number on the frame? Is it under the bottom bracket or is it back along the rear dropouts?

Is the rear triangle black or a dark green or purple?

Serial number database

Just a reminder and a plea to all members - if you haven't yet added your bikes serial numbers to the database, please do so asap.

I'm beginning to compile and attempt to decipher this info and the more we have the easier it is..

Thanks!

New rank - Barracuda Alumni

Hey all, We've had enough members join who were employees of Barracuda back in the day, that I've come up with a new rank; that of "Barracuda Alumni". If you see this rank, please do me a big favor and pay homage to these special members, and although we know the questions will of course c...
