Re: Original A2E Seat-post?

Digging up this old post as I'm finally getting around to building this into a usable bike. I was thinking I'd want to get a quick-release seatpost clamp, but now that I look at the design, it appears that the only option is to use a simple bolt and nut through the existing brazed-on stays - yes, no...

Re: 93 Barracuda A2R Lisa Muhich signature Frame $225 BIN Eb

And to nobody's surprise, this went unsold. Should I send the seller a note and let him know I got my A2E frame for $10, or would that just be mean?

Re: Original A2E Seat-post?

With some help from the MTB Forums, it would appear that this is the part I need (or need to fabricate)....

Re: Original A2E Seat-post?

This is the same post I have on my 94 Cuda Comp. See the pictures in the memberd bikes section. http://www.barracudabicycles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=176 I don't really like this post but is original to the bike. Thanks for the confirm and link. If you get a chance, do you think you might...

Original A2E Seat-post?

I've mentioned this in my general restoration thread, but figured I'd break it out as a separate topic/question here. I recently picked up a Barracuda A2E frame and it came along with some components which I'm not sure are original to the bike or not - one of those is the seat-post. As you can see, ...

Re: '94 A2E Rebuild

Probably missing the compression ring to the headset. There is a good exploded diagram in the below link. http://www.sicklines.com/2009/06/24/spotlight-cane-creek-110-headset/ Thanks for the link - I'm thinking this one doesn't have quite as many parts as the Cane Creek, but it's helpful regardless...

'94 A2E Rebuild

Figured I should start a new thread on this build. I recently acquired the frame which came with headset, BB, and seatpost. My plan is to turn it into a street cruiser mostly using components I already have. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/DPDISXR4Ti/Brad%20Pics/BarracudaA2E-1.jpg Here's a qu...
