i've never done it that way before. you contact the bike shop, they arrange the shipping, would they take care of paying the guy also? no idea how that works, so that's why i've been looking at other avenues. thanks for all the help by the way!

well, i'm trying to see if any of my old friends on facebook live in fla, i'm sure he thinks i'm a scammer, since craigslist tells you to deal locally only. so hopefully i can find someone from my past down there :(
