Re: Nooo!
yeah I wouldn't be too worried as long as your seatpost is in a reasonable distance.

Re: A2X
they were On-One Midges. I liked them super comfy- really upright- on the tops and fun decending etc in the drops. I'd like them more if they extended bacwards a couple more inches.
I am going for a modern salsa (flat & wide) bar on this build with loads of sweep.

Re: Nooo!
Yep that is bad news. I had a repair done on a cracked Klein seattube with a bit of weld- and its held out fine.

Re: A2X
MMMmmmmMB-1. Lovely build. Bridgestone were a brilliant bike company weren't they?. So unconventional with moustache bars etc. I wonder what they'd be building now? Their advertising and graphics were so far away from anyone else and have stood the test of time. Would love to get my hands on one. Yo...

Re: A2X
Photos of the kids and the rebuild soon. I am back at stage 1 of the rebuild- I had a Mavic headset on it but it looked lame with the high rise A-Tac so I'm looking for a headset to get things started.

Re: Un-numbered 93 Barracuda
I love the look of Control Tech stems.
Don all is well thanks for asking! Hope you are good. I haven't been MTBing for over 2 years... I cycle to work and thats it. A sorry state of affairs but hopefully a house move out of the city early next year will allow me to hit some trails.

Re: Un-numbered 93 Barracuda
ControlTech would look cool as on the team bikes? I will be using a high rise A-Tac on mine.

Re: Un-numbered 93 Barracuda
I have one of these frames, it is a thing of beauty! I love how the top and down tubes meet before the headtube. Also the heavily ovalised tubes (almost to a point) tubes and especially the hand cut dropouts with chunky welds around them. I asked Chris Herting via email and he said the only frames h...
