they were On-One Midges. I liked them super comfy- really upright- on the tops and fun decending etc in the drops. I'd like them more if they extended bacwards a couple more inches.

Yep that is bad news. I had a repair done on a cracked Klein seattube with a bit of weld- and its held out fine.

I'm thinking a black headset? It'll be a mix of black and polished alloy on the bike anyway.

I have one of these frames, it is a thing of beauty! I love how the top and down tubes meet before the headtube.
