Hey guys. I was on the old forum before the re-launch of the site. This is my first post on the new forum. First let me say I've been searching for this frame in my size for years! I actually bought one a few years ago in a smaller size just to have one. Its been sitting in the bike bunker since.

I just got off the phone with the seller and this beauty is coming home to Colorado ;)

Thanks to the OP for posting, I have to admit my craigslist searching has suffered in the past few months. I wouldn't have seen the listing without checking this site.

As a side note, I may have the same frame in a 14 available if anyone is interested. No need to keep it if I can score one in my size

cheers,
David

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations, I actually contacted the seller last night and was considering snatching it up but its just a little to big. Glad you found your dream bike, I know how exciting it was when I found my easton in a 16" - it seems they always come up when you aren't really looking.

I may be interested in that 14" if you decide to part with it. I could use another 14 to build up for my mom so I can take the comp back :)

Congratulations! That's wonderful! It's very rewarding to know I helped you find a Barracuda that you've been seeking for years! It means posting here is definitely worthwhile. ^__^

hey guys,

Well the a2v arrived in Colorado yesterday. The frame is in decent shape for its age. Unfortunately, as i suspected, its a 19, not an 18. I have a few 18" frames here and this one is definitely a 19. That's ok though, I'm happy with it anyway.

If anyone's interested in a 14", I may be persuaded to sell it. that frame is great shape with the exception of some scratches to the decals. that's due to the dumbass bike shop that packed it when I bought it a few years ago.

I'd be interested in your 14". How much do you want for it? Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

for whatever reason, I can't figure out how to PM, maybe I don't have rights to do that??

Anyway, let me know if you'd be interested in the frame or the bike as a whole. Obviously, those parts are a little newer than the frame itself. Right now its pretty much full xtr 952 with crossmax wheels. I have all of the original stuff that came with this bike if you'd prefer (sugino crank, xt mechs, gripshift xray, onza barends, paralax xt wheels etc. ) The stem that's on there is just a takeoff from another bike. The fork is in good shape, I also have a manitou 4 or a Judy SL that I could put on instead.

Its one of those things where its part of my collection, but if someone is going to appreciate it and ride it, I'd be willing to let it go. I'm really not sure what to ask for it, I guess that depends on what you'd like me to include.

Let me know if you'd like pics, I'm a big fan of full disclosure so I'll do what I can to document every knick and scratch.

if you can PM me, lets do that, otherwise feel free to post back on the board.

cheers,
