Everything in this ad is correct. This is the Easton frame, and it is a handmade frame, by Yeti. It's a very early bike. They were known to crack though.

I've asked the seller for more info.

For sure. For a Cuda fan who likes the aluminum hardtail bikes the best, there are really only 2 models to lust after:

1. Easton (1993/94)
2. Ultimate (1995)

I've seen a couple of Eastons, but I've never actually laid eyes on the fabled Ultimate..

Thats' funny, Mark, I remember that thread from the prior site you had going. Numerous people weighed in on the fact they/us have never actually saw an Ultimate in person. Nobody ever in all the years... no one ever in person, only the catalog pics. Did the "Ultimate" ever exist? It's like ol' Nessy over there in "Glen Mor" Scotland... rumors vs actual sightings.

Yeah, I remember that too.

The Ultimate was a "true" custom bike, only available on order, so it's safe to say that the only people who ever really saw one were people who bought one, or perhaps had one made for them (execs, etc). If I ever saw an 18", I would have to liquidate anything I owned to buy it. I wouldn't, couldn't pass it up.. I feel the same way about the A2FX, which also, I've never known anyone to see, other than the one that Dave and Jon toured around with..
