Cuda Comp on Ebay

Post by rbonif »

Pretty clean...needs a seat and a fork rebuild. Also not sure what the reserve is. I am in the market for a Comp but this looks to be 19 inch which I am shying away.

“Bike has some paint dings from typical use. Frame is perfect condition. Bike Runs Fine. Needs a new front shock or repair (seals) front shock, front brake and seat, otherwise in great shape mechanically.

Man, if this Cuda Comp is your size, this is the one to go after!

1st - The seller is clusless! $20.00 shipping is about $80.00 under the going rate for a full bike

2nd - Early Cuda Comp with the Tange Ultimate steel frame is the dream CrMo frame

3rd - The Shimano M-636 are the greatest SPD platform pedals ever made

4th - The Manitou fork is easily serviced but can run compressed as a rigid fork and look uber cool

5th - It would take very little to put this Comp back to stock vintage goodness

FYI - one hour to go. I have a placement bid in at $150. The seller let me know the reserve is $200. I am up in the air as it is a tad big for me...any members interested you need to act soon.

If the frame is a tad too big, just shorten up that crazy long stem... you'd dump that 130/140mm stem anyway!
