Irene

Post by cudarider1 »

I was vacationing in Ocean City MD and was supposed to come home Saturday morning but we were evacuated Thursday night. I live at the Jersey Shore which is also supposed to be hit hard so I spent the day today moving things around in the yard and strapping everything down, which wasn't easy with my recently aquired fractured rib. I have a finished basement so if it floods I'm not going to be happy. I looks like a really nasty storm so pray that I don't get slammed too bad.

Same here, not much at my house and I've had basement floods before. I drove around down by the bay and there are some roads with over a foot of water in them so the houses there were flooded but other than that a few downed trees. We've definately had worse storms than that in the past.
