It kept locking up on my computer at work which sucks, and I just had youtube playing stuff. But yea I like Heart as well...I can not think of another female lead group that had the hard edge at the time they came out...they had to be the first, or am I wrong? Did you see that special where they did Zep songs...great job there as well, great rock voice Annie has.

These girls were tough! They did the Anarchy In The UK Tour in 1976 with The Damned, Sex Pistols, The Heartbreakers (Johnny Thunders formerly of The New York Dolls), and The Clash... no girlie-girl act as they could hang with a seriously rough scene! There were other girls tearing it up in the scene too, like Siouxsie & The Banshees and Nina Hagen... those acts inspired later bands like The Muffs and Bikini Kill.

During the time of that picture I was into main stream radio music and about 1980 I moved toward heavy metal then hair/metal. So there are names tagged with that picture besides the well known that I do not know....must admit because my parents were country/swamp folks as a very young kid I would...(gasp) listen to....country
