Proud of my SON !

About a year or so ago a friend of my Son used his older brother's bike ( Hoffman ) to ride to school because his was in a mess and on that day someone felt the need to take the bike for their own ( A**H**E ).........fast forward to this day. My son recognized the frame as a bike was sitting in the rack at school this morning and went to the office to report the bike as being stolen for which they had the kid brought out that rode it to question him ( he claims to have bought it and was crying ) as they took the bike and check the serial number which match records that the REAL owner had. They are now after the person that " TOOK " the bike may he burn in bike hell and as for the kid that rode it back to the place it was taking from...If he really did not know I feel bad for him but if he did may he be cursed to ride used roadmaster bikes till the end of his days !!

Sharp eye. Good job kid.
I lost a Trek a couple of years ago, I was in a convenience store, on the OTHER SIDE of the glass and watched it happen. Just as well he was a little faster than me - I'd be in prison. Jerks.

My Golden Rule from my teen years on my BMX bikes has been, If the bike is outside I am on it, if it can not be with me inside I do not go to that place...to take one of my bikes they will have to pry it from my cold dead hand !!!
And I do mean inside *WITH* me, a friend brought his bike into a store to buy something and a person walked out with it when he lost sight of it...
