Unlike the others on here, you are waiting for snow to pull your bike out for rides. Hats off to you Derek for riding no matter what it is like outside !
Ps...if Em finds out about those school girls, she will kick your :!:

She knows what she got herself into. And that I wouldn't ever cross 'that' line.

A few pictures from the weekend ride, my buddy kept going so I had to hurry and only took a few in the spot I stop. Need to go on my own or with my son so the ride is more of a slow pace.

Nice. Those roots look like they could sweep an old man like you. Glad to hear you are working on getting back in shape. :D

Gee THANKS Derek  Funny, did not notice the roots on this simple trail as I blast over them first nor second time running the trail...took pictures while playing around on way back from second ride down this path to the cross over to a different trail. But yes I hope to be back in shape so I can roll past young smart :!: guys ...maybe if I am lucky, one day we will ride somewhere if the bike gods smile on us and we get the chance !

Feels so good to be back riding on real trails ...though I do miss my Son enjoying the rides as well..

For real, Thanks Derek !

Buddy and I pack up the truck and drove to the trail head we plan on riding, but the trucks thru out the area this time were those of hunters, 1st day of hunting season was today....we kick around the thought of taking the chance and even though it was cold as $hit my buddy nor I wanted to be the one to call the ride. As we were packing what clothes we had on for the ride ( Yes Derek I know, you would be in shorts and a tank top ) we heard shots fired and that was all it took...we put bikes back on the rack and head home!

Holy crap Vinny, your trails look like something out of Raiders of the Lost Ark! What an awesome area to ride, I wish we had trails like that around here! Nice brother, bring on more photos of places like that... beats the hell out of the dusty dry scrub trails around here from our lack of rain with 1 day in 8 months. I'm actually missing mud and I'm hoping for a wet winter to break up this madness!

I've been building bikes for others trying to line my wallet with some scratch so I can finish building my Psycle Werks bikes. My gray WildHare was parted out and sold to a big fan on RetroBike UK. I replaced that bike with a newer WildHare that I really wanted to go over the top with and build a dream XC bike since I have the much more stout Screamin' Demon for the crazier stuff. Anyway, the bike is done and I love it, it's every bit the best cross country bike that I've ever ridden. There are plenty of gem parts but staying true to myself, it's a total franken-bike with mismatched brakes and mismatched lever fingers, but riding has never been more fun!

Here are the build specs:
Titec/Jones H-Bar
Magura Race Line hydraulic brakes with Altek CNC levers
XT 3x9 shifters
Cinelli Caleido bar wrap
ODI CNC bar end plugs
Kooka stem
Chris King headset
White Brothers SC70 fork
Fox Float R air shock
Salsa Flip-Lock collar
Salsa Shaft seatpost
SDG Ti/Kevlar Stars& Stripes saddle
Kooka 46/34/24 cranks
Time ATAC pedals with Winwood Decksters
XTR derailleurs
XT 9 speed cassette
Ringle hubs laced to Sun XC TCB hoops
Michelin Wild Gripper tires

If you ever happen onto one of these bikes and the price is fair, grab the bike and run, I promise you will not be disappointed with the purchase!
