Hello from South Florida

So cool that a place to find other people that know what Barracuda is let alone appreciate the bikes. I sold Barracuda at the first bike shop I worked at after buying one from that shop 20 years ago. It was a XX Team. I have cracked that frame but have a couple steel frames and my most used bike I own my A2R as my commuting bike I built up about 7 years ago. I started a new job and when I ride up to work I am getting asked, "What's that?", or "IWhy did you put a sticker that says Barracuda on that frame?"
I tell them a little about the brand and they say "I'll have to look that up online sometime", so I figured to myself, why don't I look up Barracuda online to see if any documentation is around about this brand, and I am so delighted to have found this forum and the Totally Driven Facebook group.

HEY, finally made it on board ! Notice you made a few post on the FB site and wonder where you went to ? Happy to have another Florida guy on board...I enjoy making comments about riding when they are snowed in, though Derek is a nut and enjoys riding in the stuff so he does not care one bit . Anyways, WELCOME !

Cool thing you found this site, I dig your story, the fact your 'Cuda roots go back 20 years and you're still brand loyal after all these years. Having built a number of commuters, I'd be interested to see how you've set up your A2R. Please post up some photos when you get a chance, thanks.

p.s. Oh yeah, vpc66 said Derek is nuts but in reality you gotta watch out for your fellow Floridian if you ever plan an organized Barracuda ride... he loves his 'Cuda so much he'll hump your leg!!!

Oh SURE !!!!! Folks are ok if you love a goat or small furry woodland creature a bit to much, but when a man loves his bikes...that is called illicit love....The wife is ok with the fact as you can see !
