I agree Mark, I'am so glad my frame crack at the seatpost and not the head tube but no need for a binder as my frame already has it. My frame is second generation ( wish I had a Durango frame but still love her ) Comp made from the Easton tubes with a seatpost binder.
Relax and have deep water thoughts.
